Technician

Technician

Master the fundamentals of commercial audio, video, lighting and control as a Technician. In this role, you are responsible to ensure audio, video, lighting, and control systems are installed in accordance with EA and APEx standards under the supervision of a project lead or lead in training. This role is physically demanding and very rewarding. You will be able to know that you were instrumental in building the culture of Fort Worth. The Technician role is the foundation for a career at EA. Whether you become a Systems Designer, Account Manager, or a member of the Customer Support team, you will rely on the experience and insight you develop as a Technician.

Training expectations for this role include earning the AV Technologist certificate and completing AVIXA’s Essentials of AV and Project Management for AV courses.

  • Lead in Training

    Lead in Training

    Having mastered the fundamentals of system installation, the Lead in Training (LIT) role is all about learning how to lead teams and manage projects. LITs are responsible to ensure assigned installation projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with EA and APEx standards with oversight from Project Lead and/or Field Manager. LITs also train and develop Technicians. LITs continue to perform all the work that Technicians perform while also managing projects. Leaders at EA lead by doing and setting the example. Learning to lead others and work in a team are essential to developing a successful career at EA. The LIT role is where you get to start developing those skills while being mentored by other leaders at EA.

     

    Training expectations for this role include earning your Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) credential and completing the SynAudCon 100: Principles of Audio course.

    Ensure assigned installation projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with EA and APEx standards, while developing Technicians and Leads in Training

  • Shop Technician

    Shop Technician

    Ensure equipment has been thoroughly tested, within the project master schedule, within budgeted hours, and in accordance with EA and APEx standards to operate under field conditions as directed by Shop Manager.

  • Customer Support Lead

    Customer Support Lead

    Ensure assigned customer support projects and service work are completed on time, on budget, and in accordance with EA and APEx standards

  • Systems Designer

    Systems Designer

    Ensure installation projects are designed on time, within budget, and in accordance with EA and APEx standards.

  • Account Manager

    Account Manager

    Ensure achievement of individual sales goals; understand clients’ needs/expectations and properly communicate to all necessary parties; coordinate team-based approach to project completion; verify client satisfaction throughout the project.
