St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas wanted to update their existing Wesley Hall to become a more modern, relevant facility in which people could connect. The existing room was a cavernous hall with poor acoustics that did not support the desired contemporary worship service. Dallas’ Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams Inc. developed the design and Electro Acoustics installed the solutions.
Acoustical clouds made substantial improvement in the sound quality of the room and created an intimate space for worship. Five Panasonic HD DLP projectors provide an edge-blended image across the entire front wall. An ETC theatrical lighting system provides the lighting support for performance. A Yamaha digital console and Electro Voice stereo line array speakers provide the sound support needed to showcase contemporary worship music.
