The Texas Rangers completed construction on the Ballpark in Arlington in 1994. Electro Acoustics installed the original sound system designed by Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams Inc. in Dallas, Texas. In 1994 the Ballpark was believed to be the world’s largest computer-controlled sound system manufactured by Crown International. Electro Acoustics has provided exceptional service to the Texas Rangers for nearly 20 years and due to outstanding service and performance, the Rangers have asked us to provide any and all upgrades to the Ballpark’s audiovisual systems.
In 2008, Electro Acoustics provided a major upgrade to the speaker system using JBL VLA Series stadium speakers, as well as multiple upgrades and additions to video systems, broadcast systems, control room systems and a state-of-the-art computer-controlled digital signal processing system.
