St. Jude Catholic Unwraps New Church for Christmas!

St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield, Texas celebrated their first Mass in a brand new church Christmas Eve. The church, designed by Fort Worth Architect Raymond O’Connor (www.oaid.net), is warm, traditional, and very worshipful. I think walking into the church makes you feel very small and God seem very big. Bill Johnson, of Acoustic Design Associates in Dallas, created excellent acoustics that support both music and speech.

Steve Burge, our project engineer, designed an audio system using Renkus Heinz ICONYX digitally steerable line array speakers that not only provide crystal clear speech clarity, but disappear into the room architecture. Most people are not even aware of the speakers, but hear every word. In our opinion, a perfect system!

The video system projects hymns onto the walls using Panasonic DLP projectors without distracting from the worshipfulness of the room. The church is very pleased that their new buildingĀ has state of the art technology in old world surroundings.
