Lena Pope Adopts New Technology!
Almost 85 years after it opened, Lena Pope Home is going strong and has opened a new 43,000 square foot facility and now focuses on early education and counseling.
The Amon Carter Center contains flexible meeting and training spaces designed for multiple uses such as community workshops and private functions. It can accommodate 200 people in a workshop or a luncheon format, and more than 300 in theater style.
Bruce Benner of Bennett Benner Partners, the project architect, called on Electro Acoustics to design and install an audio/video system for the new meeting room. Electro Acoustics drew upon several cutting edge technologies including new Panasonic bulbless LED projectors hidden in the ceiling and an optical wall paint that serves as an invisible projection screen. The technology can completely disappear when not in use.
