Premier Designs, a values-based jewelry distribution company, just completed a beautiful atrium for their corporate headquarters in Irving, TX. Designed by Dallas Architectural firm, Good Fulton & Farrell, the atrium space is also intended to be used as a corporate communication area. Electro Acoustics was recommended to develop a solution. Working with Dallas acoustician Bill Johnson of Acoustics Design Associates, the atrium ceiling was designed to absorb excess reverberation, allowing the Tannoy digitally steerable line array speaker system to provide clear speech when speaking during special events and company gatherings. A portable 80-inch LED display is rolled into place for video presentations.
Special care was taken to create solutions that worked with the architectural design to meet communication requirements, while ensuring the speakers were hidden.
