TCU’s New Video Wall is Something to Croak About!

Let’s Take a Leap into the Pond with the Frogs: A Preview into the Technologies at the Newly Renovated Schollmaier Arena at TCU

We have already shown you a snippet into TCU’s commitment to its basketball programs and fan experience by sharing a post about the seating bowl and audio system which was part of the recent $80 million renovation of the newly renamed Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena. There is even more to share about this awesome new facility that is a contender for one of the most outstanding basketball arenas in the Big 12!

Along with showing a great commitment to its basketball programs, TCU has also shown a love for its fans when they designed the Courtside Club at Schollmaier Arena. The club is available to the fans that have courtside seat tickets and offers gourmet foods, a comfortable seating area,  a stocked bar, views into the post-game press conference room, and several TVs and a large video wall that can be viewed from any seat in the club.

The 3×3 Samsung video wall gives the ability to watch anywhere from 1 to 9 different games and channels simultaneously, but also offers functionality such as advertising opportunities and abilities to set up an atmosphere for conferences and other functions of the space. This technology is a great way to hold fans’ interest and attention during half time or after games. Overall, the video wall assists in creating an entertainment space that totally sets apart Schollmaier Arena from other facilities of its sort!

Stay tuned for more insight into the AV technologies at Schollmaier Arena!
