Sue and I founded Electro Acoustics, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas in 1984. Originally an audio-contracting firm, today we cater to all spectrums within the A/V industry, including design, engineering, installation and system support services on projects ranging from churches, performing arts centers and stadiums to corporate and civic projects.
We have been fortunate to be involved with some of the most well respected design and consulting firms in the country on iconic Texas projects including Bass Performance Hall, the Texas Rangers’ Ballpark in Arlington, Kimbell Art Museum and TCU’s Amon Carter Stadium.
The primary reason for our growth within the industry is due to our talented and committed engineers, designers and technicians. We are family-owned and operated, service-oriented, and committed to reinvesting our profits into the lives of our employees and our community.
Founder & Chief Steward
Chris and his wife, Sue, founded Electro Acoustics in 1984, after working with Chris’ father, Henry Jordan, in the same industry. With more than 40 years of experience, Chris is recognized as one of the industry’s most knowledgeable leaders. His passion for serving his employees and project partners stems from his commitment to conducting business in a way that honors both God and family. Chris and Sue have two children and reside in Fort Worth, TX.
Sue graduated with honors in nursing from Texas Christian University and worked in cardiovascular nursing for nine years. She helped start Electro Acoustics in 1984 and was involved in all aspects at the beginning. After taking time off to raise 2 sons, Sue came back in 2007 to be the full-time Purchasing Manager. She currently works part-time and is the Chief Culture Officer. She has a passion to serve and care for employees, develop excellent relationships with vendors and deliver an excellent product to customers.
Sam joined EA in 2017 after serving in the Air Force JAG Corps for 6 years. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Business Management in 2007. Sam was a member of the Corps of Cadets, and earned the Certificate in Leadership Study and Development. Sam also graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law. As a JAG, Sam opened the Special Victims’ Counsel office at Minot Air Force Base where he assisted sexual assault victims. In 2014, Sam deployed to Afghanistan, where he was the Chief of Contract and Fiscal Law for Regional Command East, reviewing over $38 million in contracts and services. Sam is responsible for EA’s finances, operational performance, and quality systems and is passionate to create the best team in the A/V/L industry.
Ryan began his career with Electro Acoustics in 2000 in shipping and receiving. Over the years he has worked his way up through the company as a helper, technician, lead technician, project manager, and currently to sales manager. As a lead technician and project manager, Ryan led notable projects such as Christ Chapel Bible Church, NorthWood Church and TCU Amon Carter Stadium. Since moving into the account manager/sales role, Ryan continues to attain and oversee multi-million dollar projects including the new TCU Amon Carter Stadium, Texas Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Kimbell Art Museum Piano Pavilion and Amon Carter Museum of American Art. Ryan’s work history in the AV industry, attention to detail and hands-on approach provides him with the experience and insight that drives him to exceed client expectations.
Ian graduated from Texas Christian University with a BA degree in music. He attended the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Arizona where he received his Master Recording Degree. Ian went to California and worked on the Barbara Streisand Scoring Stage on the Sony Production Lot in Culver City, CA, after which he began working for EA in 2008. He started as a technician and is now the field manager. Ian supervises the field technicians and coordinates both future and current jobs to ensure client satisfaction.
Luke graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS degree in Leadership Studies and served as a regiment chaplain in the Corps of Cadets (Whoop!). He started as a technician for EA and has held positions of Project Lead, Assistant Field Manager, and presently is our Customer Support Manager. Luke has earned CTS, CTS-I, and PMP industry certifications. He has led notable projects such as TCU Amon Carter Stadium’s digital signage system, Rockpointe Church A/V/L systems, and upgrades to Globe Life Park in Arlington. As Customer Support Manager Luke ensures that service is promptly provided to our clients and systems are maintained for reliable operation and needed upgrades.
Ben has been with Electro Acoustics since 1991 and has been working in the professional audio/AV industry since 1978. He oversees the shop, warehouse, shipping and receiving.
